SIDESPIN’s Innovation Brings UBD Student Fauzan Azhiman, Special Funded Delegation ‘Garuda Nusa Youth Action 2023 Program’
PALEMBANG, GESAHKITA COM—Innovation and Intellectual Property Manager of Bina Darma University (UBD), Rahmat Novrianda Dasmen, ST, M.Kom explained that SIDESPIN consists of Fauzan Azhiman (CEO), Muhammad Raihan (CTO) and Dinda Lusita Firstian Annisa (Designer ).
In accordance to which is a matter of pride for Bina Darma University as Fauzan Azhiman, Student of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, brought SIDESPIN innovation under the Innovator Center Team, and successfully being listed to be a member of a Special Funded Delegate on April 11, 2023.
Rahmat Novrianda Dasmen, ST, M.Kom also acknowledged that SIDESPIN has currently won Best 1 Student Innovator in South Sumatra.
He also exlained that SIDESPIN’s Innovation Brings UBD Student Fauzan Azhiman, Special Funded Delegation ‘Garuda Nusa Youth Action 2023 Program’
SIDESPIN’s innovation previously won the Best 1 Student Innovator award in South Sumatra, and will advance to a national event.
“Currently advancing to the National event to be able to introduce and develop the SIDESPIN Project,” said Rahmat Novrianda Dasmen, ST, M.Kom.
This prestigious event was also attended by prestigious State Universities (PTN) in Indonesia competing with students majoring in the Informatics Engineering Study Program.
“In this program, representatives of the Innovator Center Team under DIIB UBD qualified to become the top 25 Special Funded Delegates, and became the only South Sumatra representative,” said Rahmat Novrianda Dasmen, ST, M.Kom. as the Trustee of the Innovator Center.
As it is known that Garuda Nusa focuses on empowering young Indonesians, especially in the areas of leadership, education and social movements.
Fauzan Azhiman then explained that Garuda Nusa’s vision is to become a learning platform for Indonesian youth or millennials, so that they are ready to become pioneers of change and benefit in society.
In the Garuda Nusa Youth Action # 6 program, the registration and selection process starts from 1 March to 8 April 2023 and is attended by nearly 900 students from all over Indonesia.
According to Fauzan Azhiman, Garuda Nusa Youth Action (GNYA) #6 is intended to be able to explore Rote Island.
He also explained again that the divisions in GNYA #6 were the Division of Education, Division of Environment, Division of Health, Division of Economics, Division of Tourism and Division of Publications, Design and Documentation.
As for the target after participating in these activities apart from gaining prestigious experience there are also 3 outputs that Garuda Nusa wants to achievement namely Integrity, Excellence and Contributive.
“With the tagline of this program “Caring for Asa, at the Southern Boundary”, said Fauzan Azhiman as quoted by the official UBD website.
Besides, SIDESPIN is intended to be used to introduce the potential of Rote Island and UBD can contribute to increasing regional potential at the national level as well
The next activity is to implement SIDESPIN on Rote Island in East Nusa Tenggara on 22-28 June 2023.
The Innovator Center Team, which was directly initiated by Dr. Edi Surya Negara, M.Kom as the UBD Deputy Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Technology is currently trying to continue to include the Center Innovator Team in National-level Competitions and Programs and even aims to be able to bring the name of Bina Darma University at the international level.
