Psychological Test on Recruitment of The Cadet Police Academy of Head Quarter South Sumatra, Bina Darma University is considered Representative
PALEMBANG, SOUTH SUMATRA, GESAKITA COM—Psychological Test on Recruitment of The Cadet Police Academy of Head Quarter South Sumatra, by using the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) System, Bina Darma University (UBD) is considered representative to fulfill Standard Operational Procedures (SOP).
Deputy Chancellor for Research, Technology and Innovation at Bina Darma University (UBD) Dr. Edi Surya Negara, M.Kom said that Bina Darma University felt proud to be part of the process of Recruitment Police Academy Candidates, especially South Sumatra Police Head Quarter.
In accordance with the South Sumatra, Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police A. Rachmad Wibowo, SIK entrusted Bina Darma University in the process of accepting candidates for Police Academy, Non-commissioned Officer and Private Police Officers, in 2023.

This Test activity also took place at the Bochari Rachman 2nd Building, psychological test activities using the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) system took place on Friday, 12 May 2023.
This collaboration was initiated by Dr. Edi Surya Negara, M.Kom and also the reasons for the South Sumatra Police choosing the number one campus in South Sumatra for various supporting reasons.
“Regional Police South Sumatra is collaborating with UBD because they assess that computer facilities comply with standards for CAT systems, have reliable laboratory staff (technicians), and presentative buildings in accordance with SOPs to carry out these activities,” said Dr. Edi Surya Negara, M. The recruitment activities for Police candidates began on May 11 and 12 2023. On May 11 a rehearsal was held, then on May 12 an examination was held for prospective Police Academy cadets and cadets, followed by 14 to 19 May 2023 for NCOs, finally 20 to 22 May 2023 for basic Cadet.

In addition, the Deputy Chancellor for Research, Technology and Innovation also explained that this activity was able to run successfully, thanks to the coordination of Laboratory Manager Alex Wijaya, S.Kom., MIT together with the Bina Darma University Computer Laboratory team.
From the South Sumatra Police team involved in the committee, namely Kombes Pol Sudrajad Hariwibowo, SIK, M.Si (Chairman of the Regional Committee), KOMPOL Candra Kirana Putra, SIK, SH, M.Sc. CPHR (Secretary II), KOMBES POL Budi Mulyanto, SIK, MH (coordinator of Psychological Examination) and KOMPOL Suparyono, S.Psi., M.Psi. PSYCHOLOGIST (Head of Psychology Examination Team at Bina Darma University).
