Indonesia Economic Growth 2021 Result of Firmly Support from Stakeholders Collaboration

JAKARTA, GESAHKITA COM– Indonesia’s economic growth according to government in the second quarter of 2021 is in level of 7.07 percent year on year (yoy) . 

This figure is as noted to be higher than a number of other countries amid the daily spike in Covid-19 cases.  According to Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, the Deputy for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) is good to be appreciated.

“Seeing from this level  Indonesia’s (economic growth) compared to other countries is still moderate,” explained her  in a webinar entitled Outlook on the Global and Indonesian Economy, Friday (20/8/2021).

“The achievement of national economic growth, “she mentioned, “In the second quarter of this year also succeeded in pushing Indonesia out of the recession zone”.

Even so she admitted that this follows the persistence of Indonesia’s economic growth which has continued to be in the negative zone since the second quarter of 2020.

“This achievement in the second quarter has made Indonesia free from recession amid uncertainty in the economic recovery triggered by the recent increase in daily Covid-19 cases,” said her.

This is to suggest that she reminds all stakeholders not to be complacent about the success of achieving the economic growth target in the second quarter of this year.

She stresses that by keeping on committing the collaboration in various stakeholders as such of  making  scenarios are to be the effort of keeping  the Indonesian economy in the positive zone.

“So I think that future efforts to encourage this economic recovery are very important, we are all concerned,” she concluded.(dtk/pur)
